Freedom Florence Recreational Complex is a multi-use facility built in 1990 and operated by the City of Florence. The complex is designed to host various state, regional, and national level tournaments; as well as provide championship caliber fields and facilities for the local softball and baseball leagues played both in the spring and fall seasons. The complex features nine lighted baseball/softball fields and seating for spectators.
Other amenities at Freedom Florence Recreation Complex include automated batting cages, a gymnastics facility, and three-lighted multi-purpose football fields, which provide championship caliber facilities for our local leagues and residents. The Complex also offers a public picnic shelter with outdoor grills, a five-acre pond for fishing and an extensive system of trails for walking, jogging and biking.

Byerly Park, a multi-use recreation complex, has six soccer fields, two football fields, horseshoe pits, six tennis courts, a 1.2 mile walking/jogging/biking trail, four softball/baseball fields, an eight-lane track and field facility, and two playgrounds. Construction has begun on four additional youth softball fields. Future plans call for the addition of a multi-use gymnasium, two additional parking areas, and a third entrance into the facility.

Timken Sports Complex is a brand new facility in Union, South Carolina that boats 7 baseball/softball fields.
We have a 4,900 square foot North main tower, and a 1,800 square foot South main tower that include concessions in each tower, bleacher sunshades, amply-sized air conditioned restrooms, family restrooms, a game room, a parent lounge, and a press facility. The other features, such as the irrigation and lighting systems, make the new complex a top notch baseball and softball facility. Players and coaches will appreciate the outstanding quality of the playing fields.
There is a .833 mile long, lighted walking trail that surrounds the park. It is available for use before, during, between, or after games. Also, we have a fenced playground area for children of all ages.
