Platte Canyon Little League 2009 Season
PCLL FAQ’s:
What do my Registration fees pay for?
- Uniform shirts/hats
- Equipment for teams
- Little League International Charter fees and insurance
- District Little League fees
- Routine field maintenance (chalk, trash, port-a-lets)
- Large item field maintenance (fencing, dugouts, equipment to maintain fields, etc)
- Field leases
- Umpires – at Minors, Majors, Junior Levels
- All-Stars
- Awards
When does the baseball season start?
- Registration for all levels usually begins in January
- Tryouts for Juniors, Majors and Minors occur in February
- Practices for Juniors/Majors/Minors begin as soon as possible after tryouts – approximately March 1st.
- Coach Pitch and T-Ball teams are formed in March with practices beginning at the end of March/early April.
- Pre-season games for Juniors/Majors/Minors occur approximately mid-April
- Platte Canyon Little League opens their season the first Saturday in May with opening ceremonies occurring at Burland Ballpark located on CR 72 and Bluebird Dr.
- The season ends at the end of June.
- All Star practices begin approximately July 1st for Junior/Major/Minor teams.
