PCLL  FAQ’s:

What do my Registration fees pay for?

  • Uniform shirts/hats
  • Equipment for teams
  • Little League International Charter fees and insurance
  • District Little League fees
  • Routine field maintenance (chalk, trash, port-a-lets)
  • Large item field maintenance (fencing, dugouts, equipment to maintain fields, etc)
  • Field leases
  • Umpires – at Minors, Majors, Junior Levels
  • All-Stars
  • Awards 

When does the baseball season start?

  • Registration for all levels usually begins in January
  • Tryouts for Juniors, Majors and Minors occur in February
  • Practices for Juniors/Majors/Minors begin as soon as possible after tryouts – approximately March 1st.
  • Coach Pitch and T-Ball teams are formed in March with practices beginning at the end of March/early April.
  • Pre-season games for Juniors/Majors/Minors occur approximately mid-April
  • Platte Canyon Little League opens their season the first Saturday in May with opening ceremonies occurring at Burland Ballpark located on CR 72 and Bluebird Dr.
  • The season ends at the end of June.
  • All Star practices begin approximately July 1st for Junior/Major/Minor teams.

  • Please contact any board member with your interest.  They can guide you on any necessary steps to become involved in Little League.

2 1/4 barrel diameter maximum with a Bat Performance Factor of 1.15 or lower embossed on the bat...BPF 1.15 

 JUNIOR BASEBALL
