HEAD COACH KEVIN FREY
Kevin started coaching in 1997 for the Mercer Island Baseball Club. During that time Kevin coached the Mantle and Sr Ruth Teams. In 1997 the Sr Ruth Team qualified for the State Tournament. In 2002 Kevin was the Varsity Coach at Mercer Island High School. Then in 2003 Coach Frey formed the Plateau Baseball Club which is now entering its third season, in 2004 Fatburger entered into the picture as the sponsor. Kevin also coaches Eastlake High School's Fall Ball Teams and runs winter workouts for the Wolves. Coach Frey graduated from Mercer Island High School in 1992, then went to Albertson College in Caldwell, ID. Kevin received an athletic award to play baseball for Albertson College, Kevin ended his playing days playing for Shoreline CC Summer team in 1995 and transfered to Washington State University and graduated in May of 1997.
PITCHING COACH DAN GALAZ
Dan is in his first year with Fatburger, however Dan has been coaching for quite some time. His most recent coaching was with the Eastside Mariners. Dan was the pitching coach for two seasons, he currently is an instructor at Big League Connection in Redmond. Dan played for Central Arizona and played Semi-Pro Baseball right after high school. Dan still laces up the cleats for a local men's hardball team. Dan is also a scout for the Seattle Mariners. Welcome Aboard!
ASSISTANT COACH DANNY BALLANCE
Coach Ballance is also in his first season with Fatburger, but Danny is know stranger to the program. Dan was a member of the 2003 squad, Danny played for Coach Frey for two years. Danny graduated from Eastlake High School and attends the University of Washington. Coach Ballance played SS and Third Base. He will be working with the infielders all season long and be the first base coach for Fatburger.
