CONGRATULATIONS MUSTANGS -- 14u CHAMPIONS!
In their last two tournaments, the Mustangs decided it was time to play with the big boys on the big field in order to prepare for high school. Playing up in the 14u division, these talented 13-year-olds showed that they belong. In their first tournament on a full-sized field in June, the Mustangs made it look easy at first, going undefeated into the championship game. However, they got their first taste of real 14u Majors action in that game, falling to a very good OC Stars team to finish in second place. But the Mustangs learned some things and proved to be good students, finishing the job in the USSSA Summer Sizzle tournament July 19-20 to go 4-0 and become 14u Champions! Way to go MUSTANGS! Next up, an even "bigger" challenge - the 14u division of the CCYB World Series!
