The form they are using is on cardstock and is blue in color. They will not be available online-they will only be available from the Kelly Barrett, Coach Clifford or the head coach of the sport. 

The FHSAA ruling is that the physicals are valid for 1 year from the date on the physical.  PK is placing their own policy in addition to this rule that states that the physical is only valid for the current school year.

For example, if your son had a physical completed in November 14th of 2009, it would
technically be valid by FHSAA until November 14th 2010. According to PK's new rule, his physical will become invalid for participation in formal P.K. athletics on June 6th (the end of the school year). He would still be able to use his physical for summer activities on and off-campus but they would require him to have the new 2009-2010 blue cardstock physical in time for a formal PK athletic team (e.g., Aug. 10 for football). 

The forms should be completed by Tuesday and I will be providing the coaches with some.  Students can also pick-up the forms from Kelly Barrett or Coach Clifford through-out the summer or during the school year.

Snodgrass 22 points, 9 rebounds, 2 assists; Gibson 10 points, 2 assists; Brown 8 points, 8 rebounds; Wilson 5 points, 7 rebounds; Courson 3 points; Hampton 2 points.

The Blue Wave's 85-67 win over Union County was led offensively by Snodgrass (43 points, 14 rebounds) and defensively by Gibson (handful of steals, 14 points, 4 assists).  Wilson contributed 11 points, with other scorers being Brown 8, Courson 4, Williams 2, and Hampton & Hagin 1 each. 

The Blue Wave will once again meet their Red Devil rivals in Williston on Tuesday for the regional semi-finals.

The Blue Wave fell short to the Red Devils in overtime in the district championship game.  Snodgrass led the team with 36 points and 15 rebounds.  Gibson (4 assists) and Wilson (2 3-pointers) each had 13 points, while Brown added 3 and Courson 2. 

Williston will host Keystone Heights in Thursday's Regional Quarterfinals and PK Yonge will travel to Union County!   

Snodgrass (25 points, 12 rebounds), Wilson (17 points, 2 three-pointers), and Gibson (7 points, 6 assists) led the Blue Wave in their first game of the Mosaic Shootout in Bartow on Friday.  Williams added 3 points while Hampton, Brown, and Hagin had 2 each. 

Snodgrass scored a game-high 34 points, shooting 13-for-17 from the foul line, and pulling down 12 rebounds to lead the Blue Wave; while Gibson had 9 points and 4 assists.  Other scorers were Brown 11, Wilson 9, Byrd 7, Williams 6, and Hagin 2. 

Gibson scored 12 points, grabbed nine rebounds, and had six assists, while Wilson scored 12 points, including three 3-pointers, and had four steals to lead the Blue Wave.  Other scorers were Snodgrass (25), Brown (6), Courson (5), Williams (2), and Hagin (1). 

Snodgrass, Courson, & Brown received Gainesville Sun's Players of the Week Honorable Mention!

Down 31-25 at the half, the Blue Wave picked up their intensity to handle Buchholz, coming away with a 55-52 win!  PK was led by Snodgrass (17), Brown (15) and Courson (11, 3-4 from the arc).  Courson and Gibson (6 points, 5 assists) helped the Blue Wave pick up and maintain their intensity in the 2nd half with 4 3-pointers between them.  Hampton had 5 points in the game and Wilson 1.

Snodgrass (26 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists), Gibson (13 points, 2 3-pointers, 4 steals) , and Courson (10 points, 2 3-pointers) led the Blue Wave to a 59-48 victory over Williston.  Other points were scored by Brown (4), Wilson (3), Williams (2), and Hampton (1).

Snodgrass scored 21 of his game-high 23 points in the first half and was the rebound leader (9) in the Blue Wave win.  Gibson added 8 points and led the team in assists (5).  Wilson was the 2nd highest scorer with 15, 9 of those coming from 3-pointers.  Other players scoring were: Courson (2 3s) & Brown 7; Hagin 6; Davis 3; and Hampton, Byrd, & Jackson 2

On Tuesday the Blue Wave beat Newberry 64-50.  Snodgrass (23 points, 10 rebounds) and Gibson (11 points, 4 assists) led the way.   Also adding points were Wilson & Courson 9, Brown 7, Hampton & Williams 2, and Byrd 1.

 On Thursday they came back with a big win against Ft. White, 77-42.   Blue Wave leaders were Snodgrass with 31 points and 8 rebounds; Gibson with 9 points, 6 assists, and 6 steals; and Brown with 14 points and 9 rebounds.  Byrd added 11 points, Wilson 8, and Courson & Williams 2. 

Autis Gibson (14), Tyler Courson (12), and Devin Wilson (11) combined for 37 points in the victory!  Courson and Wilson each had 3, 3 pointers.  Brown added 8 points, Cummings 6, Hampton 4, and Saulsberry, Davis, & Williams 2. 

The Blue Wave came up short against the Williston Red Devils 63-60.  Autis Gibson led the team with 19 points and 6 assists.  Devin Wilson added 17 points (3 3-pointers) and Karl Brown another 16.   The rebound leader for the Blue Wave was Vince Hampton with 5.

Tyler Courson led the Blue Wave with 19 points (3 3-pointers) and 5 rebounds.  Clyde Byrd was the assists leader (6).  Snodgrass added 17 points (2 3-pointers), Wilson (2 3-pointers) & Brown 6, Gibson & Byrd 4, Davis 3, and Cummings & Fields 2.
