| Passing into a 2nd Decade of NFL Flag!

Thank you for visiting the NFL Flag Football homepage of the PJCC! We would like to thank everyone for their continued support in making this one of the best leagues in the Bay! Why? Not just becaues each participant receives a trophy; but because it teaches all kids the fundamentals of football without the fear of tackling. It gives children the chance to learn to conceptionalize the game without the fear of contact. It gives great life lessons for years to come through positive coaching.
We are entering our 11th year of NFL Flag Football at the PJCC!
The signups and tryouts for new players will be on Sunday January 11 starting at 9:00am at the PJCC’s turf field at 800 Foster City Blvd in Foster City. However, players signing up with a specific team are not encouraged to participate in the tryouts. The season will start on Februay 8, 2009. Games will run as follows: Novice 5-6 year olds (9am)Pee Wee 7-8 year olds (8am-11:30am) Junior 9-11 (11:30am-6pm) Practices are held at the discretion of each coach. They tend to have on avg 1 practice during the week. Teams usually arrive an hour before game time to warm up.

Note: All Coaches must have ALL PAPERWORK FILLED OUT, Signed & Returned to the NFL commissioner.
Reminder: Please do NOT prop open the gate doors at any time. We want to continue having a safe environment for everyone. We appreciate your cooperation. The code to enter is:4321.
Also, here are a couple of Rule Clarifications for Coaches/players:
ALL Divisions:
1. NO LATERALS OF ANY KIND! All passes must be Thrown DownField in BOTH DIVISIONS. JR Division Receivers MUST catch the ball at least 1 inch beyond line of scrimmage. Peewees may catch any FORWARD PASS so long as it not a lateral.
DEFINITION of a FORWARD PASS: ANY PASS THROWN, OR SHUFFLED, traveling IN THE DIRECTION OF DOWNFIELD FOR POSITIVE YARDAGE.
2. NO Handoffs are allowed AFTER the completions of a forward pass; ANYWHERE!

The Commish...
No Cleats Allowed!!!...
Cleats damage the synthetic field at the PJCC!
All players will be checked for cleats at the start of the game. Those players caught wearing cleats during the game will be ejected. Teams may possibly risk the forfeit of the game if a player is caught with cleats!
NO CENTER SNEAKS!!...
The center must come receive handoffs behind the line of scrimmage, in front of him. He may not receive a handoff from behind and in between his legs! Execution of this play will result in loss of down and a 5 yard penalty!
The code to enter the gate is simply: 4321
Also, we need to all remember that we are guests of the PJCC's Preschool Facilities. A few children were found running around the campus and throwing rocks up on the roof. Parents please initiate responsibility in monitoring the safety and behavior of your children. I thank you all in advance.
