PLL Policy Regarding Dogs

At the end of the 2008 season, the Pittsford Little League Board voted to proactively implement a "No Dogs" policy at our field complexes beginning with the 2009 season.  Key rationale for the policy:

  • Desire to avoid "messes", as not everyone cleans up after their pets.
  • Keeping our complexes safe and comfortable for all.  Some people, particularly children, are simply afraid of dogs.
  • Limiting disruption to games when dogs growl/bark at each other.

We appreciate your cooperation with this policy.
