Welcome to the South Little League website! South Little League is located in Pittsfield, MA, in the heart of The Berkshires. We promote the development of baseball skills for Little Leaguers both girls and boys ages 8 to 12. South Little League consists of a Major (age 10-12) and Minor (8-10) division.
Pittsfield South Little League is proud of the fact that we have developed Little League teams that have become the Massachusetts 12-year-old Little League State Champions -- just as recently in both 2000 and 2001. In 2005, the 11 year olds were District 1 Champions! Now in 2006 the 11 and 12 year old South Teams were crowned District 1 Champions! And again in 2007, the 12 year old All Stars placed 3rd in the State finals played at Mark BeLanger Field. The 10 year old CD team were victorious and undefeated in the Jimmy Fund, Great Barrington and Lanesboro tournament. They also won a trip to watch the Boston Red Sox for collecting the most money for the Jimmy Fund.
We would like to thank the players for their hard work and team sportsmenship every year. In addition, thanks goes to the managers, coaches, parents and volunteers who dedicate so much time and energy in making this Little League organization one of the best.
