     The Pittsburgh Strikers Soccer Club and Striker Soccer Academy would like to welcome you to our 2010 WINTER INDOOR TRAINING ACADEMY. 
WHEN:  January 15, 22 & 29  /  February 5, 12, 19 & 26  /  March 5
Time:  8:45 - 10:15 PM
LOCATION:  Robert Morris University Island Sports Center on Neville Island
ADDRESS:  7600 Grand Ave. Pittsburgh PA 15225   (Location address only.  Do not send registration forms here.)
WHO:  Boys and Girls ages 7, 8, 9, 10 & 11
COST:  $150
INCLUDES:  8 weeks of training from NATIONAL LICENSED coaches and a T-Shirt.
    
     Each week we will be working on a different technical skill that will help your child become a better individual soccer player.  Some of the technical skills that we will be working on over the 8 week period are passing, trapping & receiving, shielding, shooting, dribbling & moves.  A few of the soccer moves your child will be taught are the cut back, the inside of the foot chop, the outside of the foot chop, the scissors and the stop and go.
    
    The curriculum utilized in the Pittsburgh Strikers Soccer Academy has been specially designed by Nationally "A" Licensed Coach Bryan Drotar, who is also the founder of Step Ahead Soccer & coordinated by Peter Dryer, the Director of Coaching for the Pittsburgh Strikers.    

      Over the past 6 years, the Strikers Soccer Academy has successfully trained more than 800 youth players from all over Western Pennsylvania.  Utilizing a circuit format for technical training, players are exposed to accelerated learning situations in a fast paced environment.

     As our mission statement indicates, our goal is to provide players the opportunity to maximize their development through education from highly licensed and qualified coaches. The Strikers Soccer Academy coaching staff is recognized as one of the highest nationally licensed coaching staffs in the entire Western Pennsylvania Area.
