Letter to our prospective sponsors!
Dear Potential Sponsor,
The Pittsburgh Puffins Womens hockey team is one of the only womens hockey teams in the Western Pennsylvania area dedicated to adult women of all ages and abilities.
The Puffins' program is skill and fitness oriented, which attracts women from all walks of life. Working women, college students and stay at home moms have all participated in the day and evening programs available to them. Many of these women are the primary decision maker when in comes to buying products and services for themselves and their family.
Our team has great visibility. We have been coached by former and current members of the Pittsburgh Penguins, and occasionally have Pittsburgh Penguin players as our guest coaches. We have been featured in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette and were selected as one of the stories of the year in their January 1st issue of the paper. We have also been featured on various tv sport shows including a feature piece on WTAE.
Since our program has grown steadily in the past two years with more and more women joining our ranks, our need for sponsorship has grown. At this point we are looking for sponsors to offset the cost of ice time, jerseys ,travel and other necessities of hockey.
We offer you a chance to receive wide exposure for your product or service; and the opportunity to reach your target audience with high visibility and great word of mouth. Sponsors will be mentioned in any of our tournament and publicity publications. Furthermore, sponsors of the $500 level or above will be mentioned on our web site (http://www.eteamz.com/pittsburghpuffins) and their company name or logo with be stitched onto our jerseys.
