Pittsburgh NABA All-Star Game to be played August 11th - UPDATED

ROSS TWP, Pa - The Pittsburgh NABA has just confirmed its annual all-star game will be played at 8:30pm at John Herb Field on August 11th, 2009.  The game had originally been scheduled for July 1st, but inclement weather forced the game to be played at the conclusion of the season.

The game will feature the best players from teams in both leagues, as the Allegheny Division looks to stop the Monongahela Winning streak of the past two years.  Rob Cool will manage the Monongahela Squad, while Bob Holloway will manage the Allegheny.  Managers are reminded to inform their players of the date, and email the league office if a player is unable to attend.

An league meeting will be held prior to the event at 7pm.   It is open to the public and will be an opportunity to review the 2009 season, and begin the planning process for 2010.
