Week 12 Player & Pitcher of the Week (7/9/07 - 7/15/07)
Greg Wittmer of the Bulldogs earns player of the week while Matt Dalton and Jesse Jones share the Pitcher of the Week award for the Rebels.
Wittmer led the Bulldogs to two wins this week with his glove and his bat. While playing a stellar defensive third base, Wittmer went 3-4 with a Grand Slam, 5 RBIs, and 2 stolen bases in victories over the Ducks and Warriors.
Jones and Dalton both pitched complete game 4-hit shutouts over the Matadors, and Oilers respectively. The wins keep the Rebels hopes of securing a first-round bye intact, and set up a showdown with the Black Sox this Thursday.
Honorable Mention: Matt Slavonic, Black Sox 3-3 HR, Grand Slam, 8 RBIs in win over Phantoms.
