Week 11 Player & Pitcher of the Week (7/2/07 - 7/8/07)
K. T. Murphy of the Ducks and Alex Warren of the Black Sox take home the hardware this week as the playoff picture begins to become a little clearer.
Alex Warren led the Brookline Black Sox to a victory over the Knights with an impressive 2 hit shutout. In the victory, he recorded strikeouts for 12 of the 21 outs he recorded.
K.T. Murphy of the South Oakland Ducks went 5 for 7 with 3 doubles, 3 BB, and 5 RBI, including the game winning RBI vs. the Allegheny Division leading Bulldogs, and a two double 3 rbi performance against the Duck's division rival Pittsburgh Knights, to lead South Oakland to two straight wins and four victories in their last five games to keep their playoff hopes alive.
