Week 8 Player & Pitcher of the Week (6/11/07 - 6/17/07)
Alan Swanson of the Phantoms and Aaron McBride of the Eagles take home this week’s Player & Pitcher of the week awards.
In a 10-1 victory over the long-time rival Warriors, Swanson went 4 for 4 with 2 doubles, a walk, a sacrifice fly, and 4 RBIs, as he led the offensive charge. McBride earned a complete game victory over the Oilers, striking out 15 of 18 batters faced and allowing no earned runs, and the Eagles went on to win by a final score of 6 to 1.
