Sunday, June 10 Week 6 Player & Pitcher of the Week (5/28/07 - 6/3/07) Corey Yokel earns both awards for the week as he helped the Matadors sweep a doubleheader against their division rivals, the Phantoms. In Game 1, Corey threw a complete game shutout; as the Matadors went on to win 1-0. In Game 2 with score tied 7-7, Corey hit a base-clearing, game winning, triple as the Matadors won, 10-7. |
