Week 2 Player & Pitcher of the Week (4/30/07 – 5/6/07)
Kenny Rayl of the Defending Champion Black Sox regained his all-star form over the weekend as he captured Player of the Week honors. Rayl went 5 for 7 in a two game span with 3 runs scored, 3 doubles, and 6 RBIs.
Taking Pitcher of the Week honors is Chris Feathers of the Warriors. Chris pitched a four hit complete game shut-out, with eight strikeouts in a 4-0 win over the Phantoms.
(Honorable mention: Jason Roos of the Matadors striking our seven consecutive Black Sox hitters in his first appearance in three years.)
