Pilgrim JOVC: Welcome

The Pilgrim Junior Olympic Volleyball Club started in Barnstable in 1995. Since 1999 the program has been based in Bourne. It is a non-profit organization founded to promote volleyball in Southeastern Massachusetts, Cape Cod, and the Islands. It is a club where the beginner and the expert can play volleyball in the off-season (January to late May), The ages 8-18 can participate in the PJOVC program. The program is a part of the New England Region Juniors Volleyball Association.

One of the requirements of our program is that the players and coaches alike have fun while learning the sport of volleyball. We stress team spirit, confidence, values, dedication and discipline.

Over the past 10 years PJOVC has served as one of the feeder programs for over 20 different high schools. The majority of the players that play off season volleyball in the Pilgrim JOVC program go on to play volleyball at the collegiate level. Ask any of the current Pilgrim players and they will tell you what a quality program PJOVC represents.

If you have any questions about the program please do not hesitate to contact Annemarie Souza, PJOVC Director, at coachsouza@hotmail.com.

Girls Youth Volleyball Clinic

Periodically throughout the year the Pilgrim JOVC also runs clinics for children in grades 2 through 7 so they can learn about volleyball (and have a lot of fun while doing so)!

We hope to have a 2012 Winter Clinic; check back shortly for details.

The Pilgrim JOVC is not affiliated or sponsored by the Town of Bourne or the Bourne Public Schools.
