The 2009 Pride of Pike 4^th of July Celebration event kicks-off at 4:00pm with a parade from the Primary School that will end at the Pike County Soccer Complex on Twin Oaks Road. The activities will get underway at 4:00pm at the Soccer Complex that includes music (headline act the Ben Ratliff Band), food vendors, arts & craft vendors and many games for the kids! Highlighting the event will be the fireworks display that will begin at dark; bring your lawn chairs or a blanket and enjoy a great fireworks show. The Pike County Parks and Recreation Authority will be sponsoring this event and if you have any questions you can contact them at 770-567-2027 or visit their website @ www.eteamz.com/pikecorec . Parking for the event will be $5.00 per car.
