Comedic Disclaimer: We are NOT a piano moving company. The name comes from the fact that most of us run so slowly that it may appear as if we are carrying a piano on our backs. To the best of my knowledge, no one on this team has actually ever moved a piano. However, if you only need one moved and don't care if it is tuned, I'm sure that, for the right price, some of us will be willing to help:).

Movers win 2009 Summer I playoffs

After losing in the final game of the season to the Pikes to miss out on the 1st place shirts, the Movers came back strong in the playoffs, beating Zing It, Choppa Squad, and then the Pikes in the championship to take home the 1st place trophy!

Movers win 1st 2 games of Spring II season!

The Movers came out strong and completed a sweep of the 1st 2 games of the Spring II season.  The 1st game, against Choppa Squad, was close at first, but the Movers pulled away in the last inning  by scoring 10 runs, to win 18-8.  The 2nd game, against the Pikes, was close and a see-saw battle until the final inning.  With the Movers up 15-11, the Pikes scored 3 with 1 out.  Then, with the tieing run on 3B, there was a hard grounder to Justin at 3B.  He fielded it cleanly but threw a 1 hopper to Ben at 1B.  Ben made the scoop for the out and fired back to Justin at 3B to catch the Pike runner too far off the base for the final out.  Game over with a 15-14 win!  Top hitters for the night were Jeff Abaloff and Justin Kucera, both with OPS (On-base + Slugging) over 2.000.
