Poway Titan Baseball: Titan Baseball Camp

Dates for the 2013 Titan Baseball Camp have finally been set.

Basic Skills Camp (Session A) for Grades 2-5 (as of September 2013):  June 17-21  8:00 a.m. - noon

Players will run through different skill stations Mon-Thurs (hitting, pitching, infield, outfield, baserunning, bunting) wrapping up with Competition Day on Friday.  Each day will end with a game of Dodgeball (great for hand-eye coordination) 

Advanced Skills Camp (Session B) for Grades 5-7 (as of September 2013):  June 24-28 8:00 a.m.-noon

Players will run through different skill stations (see Basic Skills description) Monday and Tuesday.  They will then be drafted onto teams coached by our Titan players and play a tournament Wed-Fri. 

Incoming 8th/9th Graders Advanced Camp (as of September 2013):  June 17-21  5:00 - 8:00 p.m.

Players will get a feel for how things are run at Poway High, how they run drills and plays,  and will have a chance to meet the coaching staff. 

Camp instructors include our head coach Bob Parry, varsity hitting coach Deron Johnson, Varsity Catching Coach Caleb Allen, other Titan coaches along with current and past Poway Titan baseball players.
