The Lady Princes were voted Hometown Heroes of the week by fans. Thanks for all of your support!
The varsity squad finished their season with a 15-13 record. They also finished 4th in the conference with a 7-4 record. The team was tied with Cambridge who had the same record, but we beat Cambridge by 20 points in the regular season.
Leah Whittaker earned 1st team all-conference honors and Michelle Storm earned 2nd team all-conference honors
The F/S squad continues to dominate in the conference. The young Lady Princes are 13-3 (10-1).
Tough loss vs state ranked team
The lady princes could not hold onto an 8 point lead in their loss to Flanagan (eventual state champions). Leah Whittaker lead the princes in scoring.

The team of 5 seniors went out in style with a 20 point win over Stark County.
2006-07
Princeville gets 2 on all-conference team
Abby Wade and Michelle Storm earned 2nd team all-conference honors this year. Michelle Storm also earned her way on to the Academic All-Conference team.
F/S Team
The F/S team finished near the top of the Lincoln Trail Conference with a 7-4 record. The Princes had strong wins over Cambridge, ROWVA, and Alwood.
REGIONALS AT PRINCEVILLE
Princeville ended their season with a loss to Annawan, 50-60, in the semi-finals of the regionals. The Princes tied the game at 42 with under 3 minutes to play, but just could not pull out the win. Abby Wade scored 27 points (5 3FG's)and Michelle Storm added 10 points.
SENIOR NIGHT
Abby Wade scores 32 points (8-15 2FG, 3-6 3FG, 7-12 FT) in a loss to Alwood.
PRINCEVILLE Wins Continue!
The Princes won their 3rd game in a row with a win over Aledo. Becky Colwell scored 22 points and Abby Wade scored 19. The team finishes the season with games on Jan. 29 and Jan. 31.
PRINCEVILLE LOSES TOUGH GAMES!
The Princes came close to winning their 2nd and 3rd games of the season this week against Midland and Cambridge, but lost both close games at the end. Check out the stats. Michelle Storm grabbed a whopping 19 and 12 rebounds respectively vs Midland and Cambridge.
Colwell's Shot Beats ROWVA!
Becky Colwell grabbed a tipped ball by Michelle Storm and made a 15-footer with 2 seconds left to win the game. Princeville only scored 7 points in the first half but came alive in the 2nd with 24 points. Amanda Moreland lead the team in scoring with 13 points.
Princes Give IB a Run!
Princeville lead by as many as 16 points in the 2nd half but could not hold on as Illini Bluffs, an area top team, wore the Princes down with their defensive pressure. The Princes were led by Abby Wade's 13 points (3 3-point field goals) and Amanda Moreland's 12 points. Michelle Storm led the team in rebounds with 9.
Annawan Beats Princeville at the Buzzer!
Aron Jackson of Annawan (an area top team) hit a 3-point shot at the buzzer to beat Princeville 57-56. Amanda Moreland made two free throws to put Princeville up by two with 10 seconds left. Annawan drove down the court and launched the 3! Four players scored in double figures: Michelle Storm with 15, Abby Wade, Amanda Moreland, and Leah Whittaker with 13 each. Leah also grabbed 11 rebounds.
Princeville fights back against Eureka.
Princeville was down by 7 with 3 minutes to go against Eureka (area top team). The Princes fought back and had a chance to tie with under 2:00, but missed a lay-up. The team had to foul and Eureka connected on all but 1 free throw to ice it.
