Every few weeks we feature another Fénix player as the "Player of the Week". The players answer questions about themselves and their lives in youth soccer, and send them in where they are posted.

For more information about all our players - see the "Roster" section of our website or scan the "News" page to see our previous Players of the Week.

Years on Team: This is my fifth year on Fenix.

What teams have you played for during your club career?
During my soccer career, I have also played for Pegasus FC.

What brought you to Fenix?
I first heard of the Fenix soccer club when Benedict Dugger contacted me about joining the team the year of U-14 LPT's. After a few practices and two tournaments, I decided to play for Fenix.

What are your college aspirations?
My college aspirations are to go to an academically-challenging school, while still playing a sport. With my undergraduate studies, I plan to further my academic career and go to medical school.

What has been your most memorable soccer moment?
My most memorable moment on Fenix was winning State Cup and going to Regionals. It was amazing to be a State Champion and represent our state in the Regional tournament.

What part of your game is the strongest, and what part are you currently working on to improve?
The strongest aspects of my game are my vision, dedication, work ethic, and 50/50 balls. I am currently working on my one-on-one skills and strengthening my game overall. There is always room for improvement.

What has your youth soccer experience meant to you?
My youth soccer experience has meant the world to me. I am not only on a highly competitive team where I constantly better my game, but I am also on a team with the greatest group of girls and the best coaches. I feel very blessed to be a part of such a supportive and fun "soccer community".

What are your favoritve activites outside of playing soccer?
I love to play all sports, from track to water sports. I love to be near the water in any way that I can and I enjoy reading.

What advice would you like to give to younger players?
My advice to younger players would be to always focus on their individual love of the game and their willingness to better their game. With a combination of these two and a strong work ethic, great things will come.
