Name: Brandee Elisabeth Marone
Position: midfielder/forward
Years in club: 1999-present
What teams have you played for during your club career?
F.C. Marauders U11-U13, Eastside F.C. U14 Fenix U15- present
What brought you to Fènix?
I played a summer tournament with the Fenix and I loved the girls and the coaches! I felt it was time for a change, so I came on board.
What are your college aspirations?
I want to play soccer in college!! I’d also like the school to have a great environment and be academically challenging. That's why I picked the University of Montana.
What has been your most memorable soccer moment?
My most memorable soccer moments have been winning state U13, U15 and experiencing Regionals. Surf Girls Cup in November ‘05 was amazing too!!
Who is your favorite college or professional soccer player and why?
I have many, but my favorite player would have to be Brandi Chastain because we have the same name and that’s pretty cool…
What has your youth soccer experience meant to you?
It has meant the world to me. Most of my friends are from the soccer network and a huge part of my life. I have learned countless lessons from this sport!
What are your favorite activities outside of playing soccer?
Outside of soccer I love to spend time with my family and friends. I enjoy boating, dirtbiking, singing, and relaxing…SLEEPING is loads of fun too.
What advice would you like to give to younger players?
My advice to the younger players would be to ALWAYS BE POSITIVE with themselves. Evaluate your play honestly and always strive to get better. Love what your doing! HAVE FUN!!!
