2012 PHLL Concession Stand
Welcome back to Paradise Hills Little League for another exciting season.

During the Spring League Season our concession hours are:
> Monday through Friday - 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. , with the grill closing at 7:00 p.m.
> Saturday hours - 8:00 am to 6:30 p.m., with the grill closing at 6:00 p.m.

Any teen, minimum fifteen years of age, who would like to work in the concession stand, may contact board member, RIchard and Renee Castillo at rr174castillo@comcast.net .

Parents have the choice of working the concession when you are HOME team, or may contact a teen from the list provided to each team. If you choose to hire a teen, the fee is $10, to be paid to the concession no later than 5:15 p.m. the day of your game. The teen will be paid after all clean up is complete.

Team workers (parents or teens) must report to the concession stand 15 minutes before the start of their game and plan to stay at least 30 minutes after the close of concession or until clean up is completed.

We will do our best to provide the best service we possibly can at our concession stand and are looking forward to seeing new and returning players and their families.

Thank you,
Richard and Renee

PHLL Snack Shack Guidelines when working:
The following list of guidelines will help PHLL TEAM PARENTS & TEENS run the Snack Shack safely, efficiently and following good hygiene procedures:

  • No one under 15 years of age is allowed in the snack bar without a Parent, for any reason. The hot equipment can be dangerous for them, and it is an insurance liability issue for the league.

  • Wash your hands often and well, especially when handling money and food. Anti Bacterial Soap (liquid) is on the sink. Please wear gloves when handling food.

  • If you have symptoms of an Infectious illness; i.e., temperature, cough or gastrointestinal symptoms, please have another parent on your team work in your place.

  • If you have cuts please make sure they covered with appropriate bandages. No one allowed on the counters.

  • Other than a drink kept over by the sink, please do not eat while working in the snack bar. You can usually take a break to eat your food outside of the concession stand.

  • Please do not use the same tongs for handling unheated and cooked hotdogs without washing and sanitizing the tongs. A Clorox solution is provided, next to the sink. The coffee and cocoa are HOT. Please advise the customers of this and request adults to carry these items for their children.
  • Please clean up any spills on the floor immediately to avoid having someone slip on the tile floor.

  • It can get very busy, so please walk and be considerate of your fellow volunteers. Remember that just about all your ‘customers’ have also volunteered their time in the Snack Shack so they are usually very patient! List of operating instructions are located in the snack bar binder. There are instructions posted at each piece of equipment. Opening and Closing Guidelines are also posted.

  • If volunteers do not report for Snack Shack duty, go to the team manager and he/she should find that volunteer or a substitute. Game balls will not be released to the home team if the snack bar is not staffed.

Thank you for reading these guidelines in advance. We are looking forward to another safe and healthy season at the PHLL Snack Shack
