PHILLY HEAT ARE FAN FAVORITES IN ONTARIO CANADA

       For two days and nights, Philly played to over-flow crowds and didn't disappoint their international fans, racking up four entertaining and slam-dunk-filled victories. Three Heat players made the finals of the dunk contest at sold-out Panet High ( won by "D-Nice" ) Friday night. Tom Wilkerson was third in the three point shoot-out
      Dionte "D-Nice" Christmas ( 38.8 P.P.G. ), Jermaine Brown, Jarrett "Che" Cobb and Christian Paulhill all had highlight dunks. Steve Hassell, Ricky "Smooth" McClain and Thomas Wilkerson also pleased the big crowds with their scoring, but did the little things on defense and passing to set up their high flying teammates. Rashaan Vereen got better as the competition improved.
      Statistics to remember: Hassell is approaching 4000 career points. He already has over 1000 rebounds and assists. Christmas and McClain both passed 1000 career points in Ontario. McClain also owns the highest assist ( 6.2 A.P.G. ) average for any Philly player, who's played over 90 games, Wilkerson has played 112 Philly Heat contests. He has won 94 of those games ( seven championships), thats a winning percentage of 84 percent!
