The primary purpose of PGSC is to teach, foster, promote, and advance the cause of youth soccer in both recreational and competitive league play and to guard the interests of its teams and registered members (both players and coaches). The intent is to teach good sportsmanship, educate all participants in the fundamentals of the game as well as enhance the skills of all players. PGSC is dedicated to the idea that the game of soccer is a fun, healthy and worthwhile activity for all children.

RBSA will return to Jacksonville July 13 through 18. 

Are you a recreation player feeling the need for more competitive play?  PGSC will hold tryouts for boys (all age groups) on June 2 and 4 at HCMS fields from 5:00 - 6:30.  Girls teams will tryout on June 3 and 5 from 5:00 - 6:30.  June 6 is rainout makeup day. Current challenge players must attend tryouts to defend their position.

The spring recreation fesitval will be held right here in Jacksonville on May 17, 2008.  The fesival is open to all recreation U10, 11 & 12 teams. NCYSA just completed the website to apply for online registration. Please visit http://www.ncstatecup.com/. The link is on the website to apply; just scroll down and look for the recreation festival link and simply click APPLY to start the process. The registration deadline will be 4/07/08 which is a Monday. The cost for the festival is $12 per player. NCYSA will be needing the registrar certification form and a red stamped roster.
