PFC PRIDE U15G (2009)

Who is the "ideal" Pride soccer player? She is disciplined, hardworking, and self motivated. She has a great desire to improve and willingness to learn. She has a passion for the game that makes the hard work not a sacrifice, but a choice. She smiles and sweats at the same time, because she loves what she does. She always competes with everything she has, because she expects everyone to do the same.

She is a champion - not because she has won titles, but because she strives to do her best in every facet of her life.

April 2009 Hudso OH

NC Soccer Club - Spring Kickof, Hudson, Ohio - April 24-26, 2009.

Game one against Neo United Red got started with our girls scoring within the first minute of play.  Neo scored 2 goals near the end of the first half and another one shortly into the second half.  Undaunted and down 1 - 3, our girls rallied and scored the next 3 goals to win 4-3 in an extremely exciting match.

Game two was a hard fought battle with Central United.  Neither team was able to put the ball into the net and the game ended in 0 - 0 tie.

Game three against OSU would determine if we would make the finals.  This was another hard fought battle.  Again, we could not find the back of the net, and unfortunately OSU's only score was enough to win the game, 0 - 1.

Although we just missed making the finals, a great time was had by all.

The Virginian - Fairfax County, VA - May 23 - 25, 2009

The Virginian is a Class I tournament and is open to USYSA FIFA affiliated club/league teams and is an approved tournament of the Virginia Youth Soccer Association affiliated with USYSC, USSF, and FIFA. PFC Pride played in the Silver Division at the tournament.  Facing four teams from Virginia, we had two losses (0-2 and 0-1) and two ties (2-2 and 1-1), even though we often dominated play.  Coach Kelly was extremely happy with the team's play.  See team picture from the tournament at the bottome of this page.
