New WYSA Rules for All PSC Coaches
To All Rec, Academy and Select Coaches:
New Rules by WYSA. Please read as everyone is directly affected.
Item 1 below is the new process for all U7 - U12 REC coaches. (Note this process is already in place for Select and Academy.)
Item 2 below applies to all Coaches in the PSC Club.
1. Issuance of Referee Payment Due to a new rule being enforced by Wisconsin Youth Soccer, the state organization of which we are governed by, we need to change the way the club pays referees. Previously, the coaches were not involved in the paying of referees. Instead, the club issued checks directly. However, starting with this fall season that is all changing. Rec games will now be handled similarly to the way select games have been handled for years.
Going forward, the referees will need to be paid on the field prior to each game. This will need to be done by each coach. A check will be issued by the club to each head coach to cover all games for the fall season. Along with your check, you will also receive instructions of how much cash you will need to bring to each game depending on your age group.
All REC Head Coaches must to pick up their envelopes between 6:00pm and 7:30pm on Thursday September 10th at the pavilion at Wagner Park. If you cannot pick the envelope up you must let us know who will be picking up your teams envelope. Send email to pewaukeesoccer@gmail.com.
All Rec coaches will also be asked to complete a game report/summary each week with the number of referees, score of the game, home team name and visitors team name. Further details on this will be handed out on September 10th.
2. Game Reschedules
Applies to ALL COACHESAlso new this year is a $30 charge to reschedule games (rainouts are not included in this as we obviously cannot control Mother Nature). Keep this in mind as reschedules are requested. Numerous reschedules will cause us to have to increase our fees going forward of which we don't want to do. So please do everything possible not to cancel games.
