Thank you to all parents and players for taking time out of your busy lives for the Academy evaluations. We understand many people made sacrifices during the evaluation week, but unfortunately the club was guided by state and league deadlines which were out of our control.Teams were selected based on the evaluations and were finalized by the Director of Coaching. Players are accepted into the academy programs that have demonstrated proper skills and attitude during the evaluation dates. The club will have no more than 2 teams per age level per gender as long as it does not impact the recreational numbers and coaches that are available. If more than one team is created, the club does the best it can to create teams of equal skill and no special requests are granted except in a coach/assistant coach situation. Each year, all kids must be re-evaluated. If your child did not make an Academy team this year, we highly recommend trying again next year.
All teams will be required to attend a mandatory meeting (player and minimum of one parent). This meeting will be to meet your coach for the new season, discuss team expectations and anticipated tournaments, complete remaining paperwork, collect additional fees, and answer all of your questions.
Team meetings are as follows:
· U8 Sunday, June 28 6:00pm / Wagner Park
· U9 Sunday, June 28 6:30pm / Wagner Park
· U10 Sunday, June 28 7:00pm / Wagner Park
· U9/U10 Girls Sunday, June 28 7:30pm / Wagner Park
Please bring a 1x1” head shot of the player and your checkbook. If you have not provided a copy of the birth certificate to the registrar, you will be required to display it to us at the meeting so that we can verify birthdates.
If your name does not appear below you have automatically been assigned to a recreational team to continue to develop your soccer skills and knowledge of the game. The recreational teams will be notified in August of team placement, coach, and practice times.
If there are any questions, please direct them to pewaukeeSCacademy@gmail.com and someone will get back to you within 24-48 hours.

Spring Photo Day
Pewaukee Soccer Club Portrait Day will be held Saturday May 30th, 2009 at Wagner Park. All recreational soccer teams and individual players are required to participate in the photos. There are no forms to fill out this year and no prior commitment. Proofs will be sent to homes for preview. Purchases will be made online directly with the photographer.
Coaches are entirely responsible for notifying their team and getting the team together 10 minutes early. Coaches are to bring a team roster with phone numbers so you can contact team players that don’t show on time. Please be prepared to contact your player if he/she is late.

Thanks for a Great 2009 Tournament
Thanks to all the wonderful coaches, players, parents & over 45 volunteers we had another successful tournament on June 6. Thanks to the Pewaukee Police Dept. & the Pewaukee Fire Dept. for displaying their vehicles & helping to educate our children. Looked like the children also enjoyed the Moon Walk.
Also a Big Thank You to our major sponsor this year, TeRonde Muller Photography, check out your soccer stars pictures online at www.teronde.com !!! They sponsored the Moon Walk all day. We appreciate your support. Also Thanks to Moes Southwest Grill for donating the chips, salsa & cheese sauce, we appreciate the help.
There were a few chairs & jackets left at the park on the back porch. If they are gone now please contact Pewaukee Park & Rec. 691-7275 to see if they put them in the building. Also found was a Nintendo DS & a pink & gray duffel bag with "Going Places" on it. Please contact Jane Blau ASAP to claim them, 262-547-2528. Thanks to all,
Cheryl Marien & Jane Blau, Tournament co-chairs.
Field Changes (U7 / U8)
The U8 field has been moved. It is now behind the tennis courts. The U7 field is by the volleyball and playground area.

Concession Stand Update
The Wagner Park concession stand needs your help! The stand will be open 6 Saturdays, (not the first week, there is a park rental.) Dates open are 4/25, 5/2, 5/9, 5/16, 5/30 & 6/6. We will need extra help on 6/6 because that is the rec. in house tournament.
We need 1 or 2 people to alternate setting up the stand each Sat. from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m.
We need people to work from 9am until 2pm each week. Need volunteers who like to grill from 10am until noon each week. Please let me know if you want to grill.
We need 1 or 2 people to alternate taking inventory & closing the stand each week from 2 to 3 p.m.
We also need someone to pick up food at Sam’s Club each week, this can be done Fri. or Sat. am & bring the food to Wagner Sat. am between 8:15 & 8:30 a.m.
Training will be done for all jobs, it’s not hard & is fun when done with friends. Also a great way to meet new people.
Remember you need 4 hrs total if your family was registered for Fall 2008 & Spring 2009 to get your $80.00 volunteer fee returned. If you registred in spring you need 2 hours for $40 to get it back. If you only have a high school age player you need 2 hrs volunteer time to get $40.00 back.
Thanks for volunteering,
Jane Blau
