Pewaukee Soccer Club: New 2008 Fall Rec Divisions
U5 Division - It's a "Ball"
U6 Divison
Welcome to our Early Touches which is our 3v3 U6 Division.
Early Touches
The Game is the Teacher using the principle that the "triangle" is fundamental to soccer, it encourages playing three-a-side games on a small field with a small size "3" ball. The children learn more, they get more touches on the ball, more on the field playing time, and have more fun. The game itself is the teacher! This level of development will consist of playing games, learning while playing, along with a lot of touches, and playing!
Do not miss this action.... But, one word of CAUTION.. NEVER Get Between These Players
and Their Treats at the End of Their Game!!!!!!!!!!
U7 Division
Starting Points - Sharing the Ball
U7 Division - Starting Points - Sharing the Ball
Welcome to our Sharing the Ball which is our 4v4 U7 Division.
Sharing the Ball
This experience is the Starting point which leads into the Learning point and should be positive. The four-a-side field on a small field with a size "3" ball gives the children more freedom of expression, there are no positions, children will find their own position. A player can be a forward, midfielder, and defender during the course of the game. This program will allow each player to touch the ball as many times as possible and in turn develop soccer skills at an accelerated pace. Emphasis should be on having fun along with learning to share and work as a team, which will continue with the fundamentals of kicking, chasing, & passing to others all while having fun. Children will migrate to the areas of the field they feel comfortable.

A player can be a forward, midfielder, and defender during the course of the game. Taking Shape
Welcome to our Taking Shape which is our U11 & U12 Divisions playing 11v11 this season which is going to 8v8 in 2004 & 2005.
Taking Shape
This level we continue developing soccer skills while we concentrate on accuracy, understanding the rules of the game, and the correct techniques. This is the introduction of positional play, understanding of team play, responsibilities within the team, & the emphasis of proper kicking, passing, shooting, crossing, trapping, heading, dribbling, restarts, free kicks, corner kicks, throw-ins, and the offside rule applies and is in play. We also introduce the ideas and actions for playing offense and defensive positions. All of this is done with the idea of fun as the most important shape behind the game.
