Pepperell 11's win the District 3 Willie Sinclair Tourney

The Pepperell's 11 year olds won the District 3 Willie Sinclair Summer tournament over a tough Athol team. The final score was 13-12. If you come from Pepperell, the championship game was a classic. Down 11-3, Pepperell stormed back with 5 runs in the fifth and 5 more runs in the sixth. Chris Devito and Ryan Twomey hit homers and Chris Skelly's hit one off the fence with bases loaded in the sixth to tie the game. Tyler Thomas, Austin Lowry, and Brendan Twomey came in to pitch relief and held off a very good offensive team from Athol's Chuck Stone LL. This gave his teammates time to score the runs they needed. Athol has some hitters and their pitchers were very good. Pepperell appeared to have more depth.

Congrats to all
