Zero Tollerance Update from AHAI

ZERO TOLERANCE AWARENESS MESSAGE

We have come to the time in our season when there is a heighten sensitivity in each game that is played. With that comes the opportunity to get overly emotional and forget about the Zero Tolerance policy that is firmly in place. It is very important that all coaches, parents and players stay mindful of this policy and that it must always be observed. If not, the following sanctions will be STRICTLY enforced by AHAI for every violation.

• For All Parents: The first offence is a "minimum" of a three (3) game suspension.

• For All Coaches: Since they are held to a higher standard, the first offence is a "minimum" of a five (5) game suspension.

PLEASE REMEMBER that Zero Tolerance is not just limited to getting ejected from a game by an official. It also includes any inappropriate (verbal or physical) interfacing with other parents, team officials, players, rink employees, Board members, staff, etc. regardless of the time or place. Any infractions will result in the above described consequences.

Please don’t lose the opportunity to watch your player(s) participate in this wonderful game by losing your head. Don’t forget that this is just a game, played by kids, for fun and enjoyment.

KEEP IT FUN, KEEP IT SAFE - STAY SANE to STAY IN THE GAME
