Equipment Disinfection Special (PDF)
The Peoria Rivermen Equipment Manager has his own Sani Sport Machine which is the most widely used cleaning and sanitizing technology in the sports world. If you are interested in having your hockey equipment cleaned, please contact Brad Mitchell at 712-5813 to set up an appointment. There are a few disclaimers though:
** All bags must have a name and phone number attached to it.
** Equipment must be dry to get the full benefit.
** This does not wash your equipment, it kills 99% of bacteria as per Sani-Sport.

Peoria Youth Hockey Association is happy to announce that it has hired Jean Guy Trudel as its’ new Hockey Director! Jean Guy started his playing career in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League where he spent four season from 1991 – 1996. After posting 50 goals and 121 points in his final year of Junior’s he went onto a 12 year professional career which included stops in the ECHL, IHL, AHL and NHL. As a member of the ’96-’97 and ’97-’98 Peoria Rivermen he scored 167 points (64 goals, 103 assists) in only 99 games. The addition of Jean Guy to our current line-up of highly qualified coaches provides a unique opportunity to improve what is already the premier youth hockey organization in Central Illinois, and to provide even greater development opportunities to our players.
Please welcome Jean Guy when you have an opportunity, and watch for our 2011-2012 Travel Coaching line-up which we will be announcing in the very near future.
