A Message from the League President:

Hello friends and families. I wanted to take an opportunity to update you on some events from our off-season.

After our 2011 season ended, the board met to discuss the season and address some unresolved issues that had been discussed and tabled at previous meetings. The main focus was on an amendment to our bylaws to ensure fair play by requiring teams to equally distribute players based on age and a uniform rating system. This “Anti-Stacking” amendment was overwhelmingly adopted by our board and reps, with 3 organizations choosing to not send a representative and one voting against. As a result of this amendment, the league received notice from representatives of the Wilson and Silver Creek organizations that they are withdrawing from the Penn-Jersey Midget League.

The remaining organizations remain united in our ideals of fair play, sportsmanship and camaraderie. We will continue to work to make our league a place where all children can learn individual baseball skills and the importance of teamwork while competing with a fair chance to experience success every time they step on the field. In our league, baseball skills and life skills share importance.

If you are part of the Wilson or Silver Creek organizations or new to our area and wish to compete in the Penn-Jersey Midget League, please feel free to contact me at the information provided. We welcome ALL who wish to play.

The Penn-Jersey League consists of teams from various townships from Lower Northampton County and Upper Bucks County, along the Delaware. The League offers three levels of play. Boys and girls age 8 make up our "Instructional 8's" level. Boys and girls 9 and 10 make up our "Knee-Hi" level. And boys and girls ages 11 and 12 make up our "Midget" level.

Check your local papers (Express Times, The Intelligencer, and The Morning Call) for scores and highlights of all the games. 

Coaches- Please call in any rescheduled games as they occur. DO NOT FORGET TO CALL UMPIRE ASSIGNER WITH RE-SCHEDULED DATE!!

Important Reminders When submitting scores:

*Scores must be submitted no later than 7:00pm the following day.

*Score sheets need to be faxed or e-mailed.

*The home team must submit the score along with ONE player or game highlight.

(only 1 highlight is able to be submitted to the newspapers)

*NOTE: Games MUST be made-up within 2 weeks of orginally scheduled date.
