Friday, February 1 Welcome To Where Lightning Strikes! Thank you for visiting the website of the Pembroke Lakes Lightning, which from 2003 through 2006 was the home of the Pembroke Lakes Optimist's 11/U, 12/U, 13/U and 14/U travel baseball teams. While the Lightning no longer formally exists, this website is dedicated to all the young men that played on these teams. Parents and players alike are welcome to view our albums and read through our news archives to re-live the memories and the good times! The coaches of the Pembroke Lakes Lightning had always been committed to not only teaching the game of baseball, but sharing our love of the game of baseball and preparing the players for the next level. We always emphasized work ethic, sportsmanship and teamwork above all else, knowing that overall team success will follow. We are proud to see so many of our former players on their respective high school teams and look forward to their continued successes. All Lightning alumni are invited to keep this website on their "favorites" list, as we will try to keep eveyone updated on the progress on all our former players and their teams. Wednesday, November 26 Lightning Alumni Ready To Start Their 2009 High School Baseball Seasons
Many of the players that played for the Pembroke Lakes Lightning in travel leagues, all-stars or tournaments can be found on the rosters of many high school teams in South Florida. Be sure to follow their progress and wish them much success this season, and throughout their high school careers!
