Cancellation of games may not be made any earlier than 4:30 pm on the day of the scheduled games. A decistion could be made as late as 5:00 pm (or later if work is being done) for the 6:00 pm game and 7:00 pm (or later if work is being done) for the 8:00 pm game. A 6:00 pm game could be cancelled and the 8:00 pm game could be played.
Please be aware of what games have been cancelled.
You may call the Pearland Little League Hotline at 281-485-5190 to see if games have been cancelled. We will also post it as soon as possible on the Pearland Little League Website.
The following will be considered when canceling games: (1) How much it has rained on the fields (2) Is there any more rain expected and if so when (3) Can we get the fields in playing condition by a game time (6:00pm and/or 8:00pm) (4) How much help will we have in getting the fields ready.
On days that it rains, anyone that is able should come to the fields to help with work to get the fields ready to play, especially the teams that play that night.
