Lions final tournament of the season is the GSA state tournament on Saturday 6/25
Lions are ready to end the season on a high note in the GSA state tournament.
Tournament location has not been finalized yet.
Sunday, June 12
Lady Lions take 2nd place at USFA SPSA Summer Slam
Enduring two long days at the park, the Lady Lions overcame the hot weather and two rain delays to finish in 2nd place.
After splitting the two pool games, the team won their first bracket game before dropping to the loser bracket after losing a game 6-5 in a tiebreaker. Bouncing back, the home team Lions were leading 2-1 in the bottom of the 5th inning when the rains returned just prior to time expiring. The tournament was then called and the Lions were awarded 2nd place!
