Profile: Coach O'Neill is Head Coach of the PDA Charge and Associate Head Coach of the Rutgers Womens Soccer Team. Coach O’Neill served as the coach and trainer for the Under-18 PDA Wildcats, the 2003 United States Youth Soccer Association (USYSA) national champion, the 2005 and 2006 runners-up, and the 2004-2006 USYSA Region I champs. Through his involvement on the local club scene, O’Neill has helped develop numerous regional and national-level players, while his club teams have won 15 New Jersey State Cups, seven Region I titles and one national championship.
O’Neill is also the director of coaching for the Player Development Academy (PDA) in Zarepath, NJ, one of the top girls youth clubs in the country. A staff member of the New Jersey Girls Olympic Development Program (ODP) from 1995-98, he has identified and developed some of the premiere players in the state.

A USSF “A” licensed coach who holds a KNVB Dutch International Badge, O’Neill was a member of Seton Hall’s BIG EAST championship teams in 1986, 1987 and 1988, helping the Pirates reach the NCAA Tournament Elite Eight each of those years. In 1984, O’Neill earned the Coggins Award, emblematic of the top high school player in New Jersey, while leading Kearny High School to a state championship and a number-one national ranking. O’Neill graduated from Seton Hall in 1990 with a bachelor’s degree in business management. A native of Kearny, he currently resides in New Egypt with his wife, Rachel, and daughters, Madelyn and Kylie.
