PDA CHARGE CAPTURES 2006 ECLIPSE CHALLENGE CUP CHAMPIONSHIP
The U13 PDA Charge traveled to Libertyville, Illinois to compete against top-ranked Region II teams at the 2006 Eclipse Challenge Cup on Aug 25-27. Following a 4 hour lightening delay, the Charge collected a 5-0 win over Ohio Select on Friday evening under the lights. After defeating the Bangu Tsunami 1-0 on Saturday morning, PDA continued its momentum with a 4-1 victory over the Chicago Magic later in the day. An extremely exciting Semi-Final match unfolded against the Kansas City Ratpack on Sunday. Despite controlling the game with their trademark possession play, the winning goal came with only seconds left in the match compliments of a precision cross by PDAs left wing to an open striker who found the back of the net. The Charge went on to the Finals, rounding out the weekend with a well-executed 3-nil shutout over the Michigan Hawks. Congratulations PDA Charge!

PDA CHARGE WINS 2006 EASTERN REGION I CHAMPIONSHIP
The U12 PDA Charge won the 2006 Region One Championship in Virginia Beach, Virginia on July 4, 2006. The Charge leveled the competition, scoring a total of 22 goals and allowing only 1 against them. After topping their group in the preliminary rounds, the Charge delivered a convincing victory over Delaware in the Semi-Final match, and then went on to defeat the Baltimore Bays in the Final. In a very well played match, the Charge dominated the Maryland team in the first half backing them up in their own end, resulting in a 1-0 lead. But the top ranked Bays did not go down without a fight. In the second half, the Bays turned up the heat, challenging the Charges defensive line. However, the powerful PDA defense did not succumb to the Bays onslaught, efficiently snuffing out the attack. After the Charges keeper executed a brilliant PK save late in the second half, PDA rallied to close out the match at 1-0, thus cementing the Charge into the #1 spot in Region I.

President's Day Tournament
The PDA Charge swept the 2006 SC del Sol Presidents' Day tournament in Phoenix, Arizona Feb 18 - 20, 2006, soundly defeating top notch teams such as the Utah State Cup Champion Avalanch "94" Premier and the Arizona State Cup Champion Sereno "94" White. The Charge went undefeated for the 6 games played scoring 18 goals and only allowing 1 against.
