The 2009 Plymouth-Canton Pride is an ninth-year travel fastpitch softball organization. The Pride organization and teams are located in the adjoining communities of Plymouth and Canton, Michigan--about 35 miles west of Detroit.
We are a community based organization. As part of the Greater Canton Youth Baseball and Softball Association (GCYBSA), girls that live within the Plymouth-Canton communities or attend ANY school in Plymouth-Canton including Public, Private, Charter and Home Schools are eligible to play for the Pride.
The mission of the Pride is to provide a multi-leveled program that provides a positive atmosphere where girls can acquire progressive training in the skills of Fast-Pitch Softball at all ages while creating a fun environment for girls - of all skill levels - to benefit from the travel team sport experience, and to prepare skilled and experienced players for high school and beyond. With the Pride, you will play fast-pitch softball with girls of your own age and ability.
Age groupings are: 10 and under; 12 and under; 14 and under; 16 and under Elite, and 18 and under Elite. The Pride offers four levels of play: Western Wayne County Travel; Community Travel; Premier Travel; and College Exposure Elite at the 16U and 18U Division only.

Plymouth-Canton Pride
USSSA Sanctioned World Qualifer Tournment:
May 1-2, 2010 World Series Qualifier
USSSA Rules10U, 12U and 14U
Separate Upper and Lower Divisions in 10U and 12U that will not cross. (Minimum of 5 teams must be met to break divisions).
Individual trophis for top two teams in each age bracket and division!

Maximum teams allowed is 15 per age group

June Tournament
USSSA World Series Qualifier:
June 11-13
10U, 12U, 14U, 16U, and 18U
Will split 10U, 12U & 14U into upper and lower divisions. Divisions will not cross. Must have 5 teams in each level to split divisions.
Minimum games Guaranteed : 4
Maximum Teams Allowed: 20
GAMES WILL START FRIDAY NIGHT
Kickers Bar and Grill on site, with indoor restrooms.
Tournament location is Canton Softball Complex on Michigan ave. (12 lighted Diamonds) with the overflow playing at Heritage park in Canton, 5 minutes from Canton Softball complex.
Gate fee of $3 a day or $5 for the weekend.
Tournament will fill up fast. 2nd largest sanctioned tournment in Michigan! 85 teams participated last year!
