Paulding County Baseball Advisory Board: Welcome
The following is a copy of the e-mail sent out by Danny Phillips, National Commisioner for Dizzy Dean Baseball Dated January 14, 2011:
EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY DIZZY DEAN NATIONAL COMMISSIONER, Danny Phillips. has banned the use of all composite bats for both local league and tournament play. The complexity of this issue and the uncertainty is the result of this decision. All league officials, parents, and players are encouraged to visit the Dizzy Dean Baseball & Softball web site @ www.dizzydeanbbinc.org for bats that could possibly receive a waiver after scientific data and retesting has been completed. At this time NO bats are listed. This ruling does not include Dizzy Dean Softball.
