WELCOME TO PINE BUSH GIRLS SOFTBALL LEAGUE
Pine Bush Girls Softball is an all-volunteer, community based softball program for girls age 5 through 16. In our recreational season (April through June) every girl who registers plays in an age-appropriate league, is coached by trained and capable parents, officiated by licensed officials, and given every opportunity to learn and grow. Emphasis on sportsmanship, athletic skills, teamwork, enthusiasm, physical fitness, and FUN makes softball a wonderful experience for girls of all ages. Clinics are available throughout the winter—visit www.pbgsl.com for more information. The Pine Bush Girls Softball league has one of the finest facilities in the Capital District. Conveniently located in Guilderland Center, Keenholts Park has state-of-the-art fields, equipment, and amenities. Our very popular concession stand and brand-new picnic pavilion add comfort for the players as well as their fans. Five different age-levels comprise the PBGSL recreational season. There is a T-Ball league for first time players age 6 and younger, a league for girls 8 and under, 10 and under, 12 and under, and a senior league of 13-16 (all divisions based on age 1/1/2009). Each division provides healthy competition and appropriate skill levels for every girl. Travel teams for summer and fall are also available for the three oldest divisions. These teams play at various parks around the Capital District, meeting girls from other areas and learning to play with pride for their own league. Travel team information will be available in the spring. Registration is just $85 for the recreational season, and even this low cost may be reduced by fund-raisers. Registration Forms are available under the Handouts link. Join us in encouraging our young women to develop their skills athletically, socially, emotionally, and as active citizens. Registrations should be mailed by the last day of February to assure entry in the team draft process.

"My motto was always to keep swinging. Whether I was in a slump or feeling badly or having trouble off the field, the only thing to do was keep swinging." - Hank Aaron
