The Pataskala Porpoises (a.k.a. The Pataskala Area Swim Team, or PAST, for short) invite you to find out more about our recreational summer swim team.

The Pataskala Area Swim Team has been around since the 1970's and is (unfortunately) one of the best kept secrets in Pataskala. The Pataskala Porpoises swim team was founded by Larry R. Fruth as was the Tri County Aquatic League (TCAL) in which the Porpoises swim.

With the generous support of the Beechwood Trails Pool, Pataskala once again has a pool that can support swim practices for the swim team as well as being available for family recreation. The Pataskala Porpoises roster is on the rise but there is still plenty of room for growth. If your children (ages 18 and under) are looking for a fun and healthy summer activity that will usually leave your weekends free, consider joining the Porpoises!

To register, you can find all of the forms in the downloadable forms folder. Just fill them out and mail to Jeff Chapman, 111 Indian Creek Ct., Pataskala, OH 43062. There will also be an Open House at the Pataskala Nazarene Church on May 9, from 6 - 8 pm. If these options aren't possible then bring the forms to the first practice on June 6th. The best time to come for new swimmers would be 9 a.m. or 10 a.m. We will have our vendor there with the new swimsuits in case you need to buy a suit. If you previously ordered a suit at the Open House, he will bring those suits then. As always, a black swimsuit is fine if you already have one.
