facilities and equipment to excel on and off the football field and to bring a sense of Panther Pride to

Details 

Club Officers - President, Field Manager, Treasurer, CenturyTel Manager, Freshman/JV Concessions, and Website Manager

Class Officers - Each class (Senior, Junior, Sophomore, Freshman) has two parents that are a point of contact for all parents of that class.  The class officers are provided with a list of players and their parents along with contact numbers.  Class officers contact parents to provide information and request volunteers.

Stadium Work Days - We set up 4 to 5 days during pre-season to perform general maintenance to the stadium facilities.  This would be things like painting the goal posts, repairing wind screen, repainting the steps and the Panther Claws, installing sponsor signs - whatever needs to be done to keep the stadium looking GREAT!

Home Game Field Prep - We meet at the field the night before the home game and put up our red and black flags and paint the field.  The QBC paints all the red and black end-zone art and our Panther P in the middle of the field.  The PHS Marching Band Booster club paints all the white for the yard lines and hash marks.  Any other general maintenance rquired for the game is also done.

Chain Gang - For home games only.  Best place to see the game.

Banquet - Set up tables and chairs and decorate for the banquet.  Everyone at the banquet helps with cleanup.

CenturyTel Concession Stands - This is our primary fundraiser.  We work two events per month (except during football season) in CenturyTel's main concession stands.  We usually require 15 volunteers each event.  Time ranges from 4 to 5 hours.  Our responsibilities include assisting the on-site CenturyTel employee with setting up, selling food and drinks, and cleaning up afterwards.  We take away a percentage of the sales from our stand.  The more we sell, the more we get.

Freshman/JV Concession Stands - Sell concessions at all Freshman and JV home games.

Pre-Game Meals - We sell advance tickets and also sell to walk-up before one home game.  We prepare brown bag meals (i.e. hamburger, bar-b-que sandwiches).  Prep work starts the night before the game and we need volunteers to come early on game day.  We stop serving before the game starts.

Sponsor Signs - We sell 4' x 8' aluminum signs to local businesses or organizations to advertise.  These signs are placed around the inside fence of the stadium.  After initial purchase, the signs can be renewed on an annual basis.

Jungle Fever Sales - We sell items such as t-shirts, hats, yard signs, and lanyards to fans at our home games.  These items are selected during pre-season by the Quarterback Club.

Memorial Brick Pavers - We have a section close to the front gate of the stadium where we are placing memorial bricks.  We sell the bricks and have them engraved.  You can enjoy permanent recognition of your part in a worthwhile project - great for seniors and for past graduates and teachers as well as the current and future student body.
