Welcome to the Parkland Community Basketball website for basketball in the Parkland County, Spruce Grove, and Stony Plain area of Alberta, Canada. This 2016-2017 season we celebrate our 25th year as a community basketball program and we are looking forward to another great season this year!

Our association is currently running three different programs:

 Co-ed Recreational League

 Recreational age divisions with players born 1999-2009 (grade 2 through grade 12)

One weekday practice and Saturday games in Spruce Grove or Stony Plain

Runs middle of September to February

Parkland Pride Commpetitive Teams

Gender specific competitive teams for players born 1999-2005 

One or two weekday evening practice

Game times and location vary based on division

Runs middle of September to February

Spring League

Gender specific competitive teams

Runs April to early June

Registration for the 2016-17 season is now available online for those who wish to pay by credit card. Use this link to register.

For those you have previously registered with Ramp you can log in and register your player(s). If not, you will have to create a Ramp account and then you can register your players.

If your players are interested in being considered for a Parkland Pride team this season, please register in the Parkland Pride Division. Teams will be created for players born from 1999-2005 if there are enough players registered. All players wishing to be considered for a position on a Parkland Pride team must register by September 8. Any players who don't get placed on a Pride team will be asked to attend the community evaluations and will be placed on a community team.

For in-person registration see the following dates. 

Registration Info Night: August 11 @ Tri-Liesure Center from 6-9pm

Final Registrations: Sept 7 and 8th @ Broxton Park School 6:30-8:30 pm 

Payment by check and cash will be accepted. A late registration fee of $25 will apply to all registrations after September 10th.

There is subsidies available for financially challenged families through KidSport Parkland. The form is available on the KidSport Alberta website: under the local chapter named Parkland. Or contact them at 780-963-8591 for more information on this. KidSsport forms will also be available at the registration nights.


We are also looking for more people interested in making some extra money while getting some exercise by refereeing our games on Saturday. A reffing clinic will be held in September all who are interested in refereeing for the Parkland Community Basketball League. It is also a great course for those who want to ref Jr. High school games. More info to come.
