Park Hill Panthers: NSA 2016 Football Skills Nights
The NSA (Northland Sports Alliance) is offering an ongoing opportunity for youth in the area to receive instruction and field time for football. This program, Football Skills Nights, will be on Sunday and Monday evenings from 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM at Tiffany Springs Park beginning on Sunday, June 5th and concluding on Monday, June 27th.
The program is designed to provide kids ages 9-14 fundamental instruction in position specific drills, segment work and group sessions. Curriculum will vary each night and by group size.
Camps and drills will be conducted by USA Football certified coaches, with assistance from past and current Park Hill and Park Hill South football players. Emphasis will be passing related, both offensively and defensively, but all position work and fundamentals will be covered over the course of the 8 sessions.
Who should be interested?
- Anyone age 9-14 that plays football and want to gain experience and practice time working on their position.
- NEW players that are thinking about getting into tackle football and want a head start preparing for the upcoming season.
- Players that want to get instruction at specific positions or interest without being assigned to a position group to work with.
- You don't have to be on a specific youth team or any organized team. This camp is for anyone interested in learning specifics related to their postions of interest. The camp instruction is designed and put on by coaches from multiple organizations in order to focus on teaching the game, not recruiting kids to their specific team.
When: Sunday & Monday evenings, beginning June 5th and concluding June 27th.
Time: 6:30 - 8 PM each night
Fees: $40 flat fee for online advance registration by 6/2/16.
$50 for registrations after 6/2/16 or to register at the field. (Payment at the field can be cash or check only). Attend as many nights as you would like (8) sessions total.
