Parker Panthers: Welcome

The Parker Panthers is a youth track team located in the Parker, Colorado area catering to youth 7 to 18 years of age.

Our mission is twofold:  1.  To expose youth to track and field in a fun and healthy environment hoping to perpetuate a healthy lifestyle while building character.  2.  To provide youth who want competitive level training and coaching with an option in the Parker area.

OUTDOOR TRACK & FIELD SEASON
Practices started April 30, 2012.  Live Registration was Tues, March 27, 2012 at Stonegate clubhouse in Parker.  You must get approval from Coach Ross or Coach Brent to late register.  See Registration tab on left. The link for uniforms is there too.

Regular season:  April 30 - June 30
Regionals and Nationals (must qualify): July

The Panthers participate in USA Track and Field (USATF) outdoor meets in June.  Meets are on Saturdays with the Colorado State Junior Olympics meet holding a few events on Sunday.  Meets are located throughout the metropolitan area  (See Meet Schedule link).

For those who would like to and qualify at the Colorado State Junior Olympics meet, the Regional Championships are scheduled for El Paso, TX (Kidd Field, UTEP) on July 5-8, 2012.  Nationals will be the held the week of July 23-29 in Baltimore, Maryland.  Let's go!

Practices are on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 5:30pm to 7:00pm at the track at Chaparral High School.  Occasionally, we meet across the street if the CHS track is scheduled with CHS events.

Contact Coach Brent to find used spikes or trade sizes.  We even have new spikes for sale from past Panthers.  Spikes are not required, but if you're interested here are several places you can check-out:

Please be sure your Panther is registered with USATF & we have your membership # (www.usatf.org/membership/application/index.asp club # 173).  You will not be allowed to compete without a membership.
