The mission of the Office of School Food and Nutrition Services (OSFNS) is to ensure that safe, nutritious and appetizing meals are available to New York City students. Every day, over 810,000 meals are served in public and private schools throughout the city. Along with providing breakfasts, lunches, snacks and suppers, OSFNS helps students of all ages develop healthy eating habits.

The School Leadership Team will Provide PS 175Q a proper educational direction by preparing its Comprehensive Education Plan, including annual goals and objectives, and developing a school-based budget aligned with that plan.

PS 175 The Lynn Gross Discovery School now has an Internet Shopping Portal to more than 300 web merchants. Each time anyone shops on the Internet starting at our shopping portal, a percentage of all purchases is donated to our school's Parents Association.
The program is simple - the next time you sit down to shop on the web, visit www.schoolpop.com first, and then follow the simple instructions. Shopping on the Internet will be exactly the same -- the same selection, the same prices and the same guarantees -- just as if you had gone directly to a merchant's web site. The big difference will be that you will be raising money for our school while you shop!
It costs nothing to participate. www.schoolpop.com will keep track of all purchases credited to The PS 175 Lynn Gross Discovery School and send us a check quarterly. There is no cap on how much our school can receive, and this program generates donations year round!
