Hi everyone! The Panther had another excellent round robin in Maple Valley! We had a great turn out and wrestled against 4 other quality programs. The coaches are excited about the way everyone wrestled. There were many tough matches and our sportsmanship was great! We will get challenge matches started on Tuesday and continue them until all Varsity/JV and reserves are completed for the first dual meet on December 2. I will have a letter that will explain this process.

Next weeks event is the Predator World Championships. It will be held at the Evergreen State Fairgrounds on November 21-22 with weigh-ins on Friday November 20 at the Everett Holiday Inn from 4-7pm. There is a $38 entry fee and it is a double elimination tournament. There will be wrestlers from many states participating. It is open to all wrestlers and the competition will be tough. We will be establishing a sign up sheet for the Tough Guy and Turkey Tournaments. The Tough guy is recommended for more experienced wrestlers and will require pre-registration through trackwrestling. Please ask if you have any questions as to which tournament is right for your wrestler. These events will be the Friday and Saturday after Thanksgiving

Things to remember: Shower after every practice or event. No talking when coaches are explaining moves. At events look at your coaches between rounds for your choice of positions and last eat healthy. A well balanced diet can give you that little extra boost you need to score points.
